Railworks - Butler to Clarkson Rail

This project on the Butler to Clarkson Railway was conducted at night as to not interrupt the train services.

Power On Cabling were required to drill under the live rail and pull back 110mm communications conduit for the signals to be duplicated in order to open up the new rail line so there was a north and south line. As part of the works we were required to comply with all OHS, PTA requirements and Railworks Safety management plan. We were required to drill under the existing rail in approximately 7 locations. On completion of the works we received a glowing recommendation from not only Railworks but Ansaldo as well which was the main contractor for the project.
